Skyhood is a software startup developing revolutionary
services for the recruitment market. We are building a
service platform, which connects jobseekers and employers more
efficiently with the use of modern web technologies and social media.
The company was founded in early 2010 by two Aalto University graduates:
Thomas Grönholm and Martti Kuusanmäki, and six months later Python guru
Markus Törnqvist joined the team. After researching the job markets
we launched two services for the Finnish markets in the first half of 2011
and an international service beta in fall 2011. With a strong support
from the Finnish angel investor community we have been able to continue
the rapid development of our innovative services.
Our entrepreneurial core team and advisors have tens of years of combined experience from web and recruiting industries. We have expertise in technology, solid academic and practical background in business development combined with ambitious goals and market knowledge gained from companies like Rovio, Nokia, Infineon and Google.
